Opening up to that sweet surrender..

Hello everyone!

JustAddFire has been relaunched, in a streamlined and redesigned form. Right now we have Events and Stories running. You can see events in the calendar and upcoming ones below that in the sidebar.

Logged in users can also create content of either type. Events are self-explanatory and Stories are things like announcements, press releases, etc., essentially information for the community. All of the old JustAddFire login information was written into the new database, so please feel free to login and start co-creating this site. New users are welcome, too!

Over the next several weeks we will be adding a Gallery, more rich Profile pages for each user, a Forum, RSS syndication (for offline reading of content), and many other features, including Articles on specific topics near and dear to our hearts.

We are also looking forward to using JAF2.0 to persist a lot of the rich information that exists in various written and non-written forms. We are working on collecting information and will soon have some pointers and resources to various rhythms, different "containers" and traditions used in the sacred fire circle community, links to resources on standing events, and some other secret features.

This is ultimately a community effort; We encourage you to write stories and add events, participate in forum discussions, post your favorite fire circle event pictures, etc. This site will become what you make of it, to some extent. Just like the fire circle. :)

Lastly, JAF is again offering you the option of supporting this site, and getting a cool email address in the process. For a subscription of $5 a month, you can have your very own "You@justaddfire.com" email address. This includes web-based access, as well as local (POP) access from your computer. The accounts come with 1gb of storage, too! Just email Andrew with a request for a specific email address, and he will set it up!

If you would like to support the site but don't need an extra email address, how about an alias? We can set up a reserved email account and simply forward "You@justaddfire.com" -> "You@anywhere.com".

We invite you to explore the new items as we add them, let us know what you think, create some content, play around.. Just Add Fire!
